In response to “Powerful Tampa Bay interests campaign for local light rail funding”:
I suggest Tampa leaders take a field trip to visit Seattle’s bus & light rail system and Vancouver, BC’s automated Skytrain & bus network as part of deciding what is needed “to be competitive in the 21st century.” —JohnNiles
In response to “In race to replace Meek, vested interests spend heavily”:
Scott Galvin is the only viable candidate in this race that is not tied to special interests. As you can see, Wilson, Gibson and Moise all owe big insurance, big banks, and even big tobacco favors in Washington. Good luck getting health care reform passed with any of these people in Washington. Scott Galvin will work for this community. That is who he owes a debt to if elected. Not ANY special interests! —Evan
In response to “Rock mining temporarily banned in Everglades”:
Shouldn’t be allowed to begin with —ProgressFlorida
In response to “Jeff Greene joins Meek, Crist and Rubio on ‘crooked candidates’ list”:
Is there a lesser evil to chose? —HistoricShed
In response to “To get Medicaid and education aid to states, an unprecedented cut to food stamps”:
heaven forbid they take a little bit from the military —Claire Franklin
In response to “Florida Chamber, AIF release unsurprising 2010 endorsements”:
Given that the Florida Chamber is certain to endorse the candidate least likely to represent my interests, I look forward to voting against every one of their suggestions. —Andyr2120
In response to “Sink running even with both Scott and McCollum”:
I don’t understand, why this criminal Scott is so far up in the polls, are the people crazzy or brainwashed. there is another scam from him (back in 2001/03) , same pattern, just another company (clinic), I wouldn’t trust this guy if god personally gives him his blessings. people who vote for him deserve to be scrued. —Doris Wedel
I’d rather ‘Sink’ than swim with Scott or McCollum :>) —Dori Carlson Sutter
